Junior Guide

Sieb Chhong (David) – a junior guide and co-founder of CBGA.

Sieb Chhong was born in Battambang province in 1979 and graduated high school in 1997 is another talented Junior CBGA Bird Guide. He has started his birdwatching with CBGA since June 2019 and has led many day trips and medium length trips around Siem Reap and Phnom Aural to see one of the Cambodian iconic birds – Cambodian Laughingthrush. He is also one of the top range temple guides of Siem Reap and has been in this career since 2007.

His enthusiasm in birdwatching has brought him to a success in leading trips with positive feedback and happy trips for his clients.

He has also been educated in many environmental programs such as how to save water, plastic free, refill but not landfill and able to explain other people to understand how important our ecotourism project is and how people directly and indirectly benefited from it.

He is very proud of what he is doing with CBGA and hopefully he soon becomes a Senior Bird Guide in a very short future.
