Chhoum Choeng was born in Siem Reap, he started birding after leaving his monkhood in 2015. He is one of the most recommended CBGA guides from birdwatchers as a bird enthusiast, enthusiastic guide. As a result of his hard work and skill-improvement in leading long and big-group birding trips, he was promoted as a senior trip leader in early 2025. He is committed to his tasks and attentive to all his clients in the group. He is kind and keen to learn more from people around him, especially any inputs from developed birdwatchers. In his career, he has travelled to some foreign countries to learn more from people and biodiversity within Asia.
