It is just an hour drive from Siem Reap to the north Kbal Spean One Thousand Linga River. Kbal Spean is a critical place to support the Dry Dipterocarp Forest and semi evergreen forest. It is the only remaining natural habitat for the White Imperial (Neomyrina nivea), Red-spot Marquis (Euthalia recta), Gaudy Baron (Euthalia lubentina lubentina), Cruiser (Vindula erota erota), Spot Swordtail (Graphium nomius), The Blue Helen (Papilio prexaspes), Yellow Orange Tip (Ixias pyrene). Over 40 species could be see in just a day tour. The forest is amazing to see and a great experience. We will show you how it benefits the local people. The Dipterocarpaceae is used by the local people in many ways to support their lives. We will also draw your attention to many other botanical species and tell you how they are used in traditional medicines. You can also do birding around the dry decidous forest that we expect to see Rufous-winged Buzzard, Brown Prinia and Black-headed Woodpecker.
