Chaktomuk Marshland target birds including the endemic Cambodian Tailorbird, Siberian Rubythroat, Oriental Reed-warbler, Spotted Owlet, Plain-backed Sparrow, and Dusky Warbler.
Exciting discovery – Nest belonging to the Asian Golden Weaver found near Siem Reap. This indicates that the population of this near threatened species are nesting later in the year and in different locations.
Koh Ker target birds including White-rumped Pygmy-falcon, Black-headed Woodpecker, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Rufous-winged Buzzard, Collared Falconet,
White-winged Duck, Bar-bellied Pitta, Banded Broadbill, Banded Kingfisher, Green Peafowl, Siamese Fireback, White-rumped Pygmy-falcon, Oriental Bay Owl and Blyth’s Frogmouth.
The reserve supports some potential wildlife including the target bird species Bar-bellied Pitta and Oriental Bay Owl, Blyth’s Frogmouth, Silver-breasted Broadbill, Common Green Magpie, Coral-billed Ground Cuckoo, and Himalayan Night-heron, etc.
Aural target birds: Cambodia Laughingthrush, Green Cochoa, Pusty-nape Pitta, White-tailed Robin, Coral-billed Ground-Cuckoo, Blyth’s Shrike-babbler, Chestnut-headed Partridge, Blue Pitta, Mountain Scops-owl, White-tailed Robin
Chestnut-headed Partridge and Silver-breasted Broadbill, Long-tailed Broadbill, Indochinese Green Magpie, Great Hornbill, Wreathed Hornbill, Wedge-tailed Green Pigeon.
Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary’s target birds: Orange-necked Partridge, Germain’s Peacock Pheasant, GReen Peafowl, Siamese Fireback, Red-vented Barbet, Golden-crested Myna, Great Hornbill, Grey-eyed Bulbul, Blue-rumped Pitta, Dusky Broadbill
