Angkor is not the only one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia but also the area with water resources supports some potential wildlife including the birds, dragonflies, and butterflies. This site is good for Combining temple and Dragonfly as it is easy access just 15 mn from Siem Reap and people can do temple tour in morning and when it get warmer can make concentrate to Dragonfly and Damselfly, there more site to go here especially Neak Pean with Baray Javavaman VII (reservior). You probably could see around 30 species in just a day tour including Pseudagrion microcephalum, Acisoma panorpoides, Brachydiplax farinosa, Aethriamanta brevipennis, Orthetrum sabina, Rhyothemis phyllis, Rhyothemis triangularis and Rhyothemis plutonia. We also include the famous Temple of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple with its countless sculptural decorations, and Ta Prohm with combination of trees growing out of the ruins, and other temples.

This tour can be done all year. However the best time to explore is from October – January. Habitat: Moat, marsh and pool with vegetation growth around the edge of the pool. Best option for people to enjoy nature, temples and dragonfly just a day tour.
